Black pepper oil is steam distilled from sun-dried peppercorn seeds of the Piper nigrum vine growing in India. It has a rich, spicy and warm aroma. Apart from being used in foods to add a spicy warmth to it, black pepper oil can also be used in perfumery to add depth to the overall fragrance. It also adds warming sensations when used sparingly in massage oils.
